New Girls/Women's changing Facilities at Bashley FC

Group introduction

We are a local Football club which is going from strength to strength. The club has adopted a new additional youth-based policy where success will not only depend on developing the existing talents. The advantage of the new youth policy that it will be promoting health, fitness and self-awareness. The aim is for all ages to come together with a common purpose and foster community spirit and friendship. We now have a youth team and a girls U15s. The club is lead by Chairman Scot MacFarlane assisted by a team of volunteers

How would this funding have an impact on your community?

Bashley FC is hoping to be converting part of the clubhouse into a changing area for the new girls team and female referees. We are visiting local schools trying to attract more girls and boys to come and join. But in order to achieve this we have to ensure that we have the right facilities for the children and their parents. Since the Club was established in 1947 and is totally run by volunteers the benefit for the local community for family's to come together will carry through to the next Generations to come.

"Let the girls play!
