Group introduction

A voluntary funded and run club that has members coming from a large local area as well as several members who travel much further because of the friendly and welcoming nature of the club.
To provide competitive and non-competitive netball for fitness and social reasons to compete in local leagues and mixed netball league in Kirkby Lonsdale.
Junior players - provision is being considerably increased for age 5 plus children in September in light of additional training space available at the new Lunesdale sports centre at QES school.
Older or less active members of the community are catered for through the popular game of walking netball. We are a fully inclusive club and don't turn any players away.

2017 winners of the Lancaster and Morecambe league 1st Division (which has approx 30 teams in) and 2018 runners up. We have three teams in this league as well as a team in the highly competitive Cumbria premier league which takes us as far as Workington and Whitehaven.

This area has a great reputation in the local sporting world, but netball is often overlooked locally due to more high profile clubs and activities. For many it is a way back to fitness and meeting new people after having children or a way of restarting activity once they leave school. It is also a great way for children to get to know other children from local primary schools that they may end up at secondary school with and build their confidence and fitness.
