TIBS FC

Ingleby Barwick (Stockton/Cleveland)

Your story

A voluntary football club run for the local community.

Group introduction

TIBS FC was established in 1997 with a team of 12 children. Through the volunteers of committee and 40 coaches and managers, today the club provides, community based, sporting facilities to almost 300 children from the Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick areas. In the 2018/19 season the club will also have, for the first time, 2 girls teams taking the number of teams in this season to over 20.

How would this funding have an impact on your community?

It is vital that TIBS continues to make playing for the club affordable to families of all income levels however, the club is facing substantial costs to carry out essential roof repairs ahead of the next winter. In order to maintain the clubs facilities, avoid further roof deterioration and to minimise the cost to the club and potentially the impact on the pockets of our parents, organisation like yours can help us address these essential repairs.

"TIBS FC is focussed on providing a quality, safe and affordable opportunity to loacal children to enjoy playing football."
