Copmanthorpe Football Club

Your story

Copmanthorpe FC offers football for all in the York area, including youth, girls and disability football teams

Group introduction

We are a community club with a focus on development of our young people. We offer footballing opportunities to everyone on our community including boys, girls and pan-disability. We also run an adult Cerebral Palsy team. The junior section has grown since the 1980s to become an FA Charter Standard Community club.

How would this funding have an impact on your community?

This funding would allow us to purchase essential matchday equipment such as footballs, cones and bibs. This cost saving would be reserved to enable us to subsidise some of our less financially able families, to help us to remain a fully inclusive club.

""This money would go a long way to ensuring that we remain a fully inclusive football club, by helping us to support young footballers who would otherwise not be able to afford to join a club." - Martin Brooks, Chairman Copmanthorpe FC"
