Your story

Allstars give children the chance to shine.

Group introduction

Blackburn Allstars JFC was set up in May 2015 by 3 volunteers who wanted to create a family friendly club. As most junior clubs start life with one or two teams we started with 7 from under 7s to under 18s with over 90 young people playing league games and many others just training for exercise. We are celebrating our 1st year and growing weekly.

How would this funding have an impact on your community?

Any funding that we receive would have a major impact within our club as it would help us to develop the club further and continue to offer quality coaching at affordable prices. If a young person doesn't want to play football but still be involved we offer coaching assistant positions to help further their career prospects and refereeing training. We have secured a local primary school for training and games and we look to become a strong link within the community. the club aims to introduce walking football for the older generation and a disability team within the next 2 seasons.

"This is a club where all get the chance to shine."
